Dream. Dream. Dream.

Earlier this year, my wife and I purchased a 2005 Dutchman T@B that we found on Craigslist. It's in great shape and one of the previous owners made some useful mods that things bit more convenient. As you can see from our previous posts, we love our tiny trailer. Although it wasn't our original choice for a T@b, we plan to get several years of use out of it.

Had we been able to purchase a new trailer we'd have likely gone with the T@B Max CS. We do most of our cooking outside so having the clam shell kitchen set up ready to go without the need to set up additional gear is appealing. We also love the front bench and window, which would have made a cozy reading nook. That being said, we've seen the new T@B 400 and it has now moved to the top of our dream list.

While we're not big on the bathroom because we'd rather not deal with the mess, I'm sure we'd come to appreciate not having to go outside to do our business or walk to a bathhouse in the middle of the night. We love the fact that it features a separate bed and dinette so you don't have to set things up every evening to sleep or break things down each morning to have somewhere to set if the weather forces us inside. The galley would be useful for cooking in inclement weather too. The extra storage, as well as the convertible dinette, are additional selling points.

We don't know when our dream will come true but in the meantime, we'll continue to plan, save, and dream about an eventual upgrade.
